Cross River-The USAID organizes Sensitization Workshop on ALTERNATIVE ENERGY DEVELOPMENT.

The USAID recently held a one day Sensitization Workshop on ALTERNATIVE ENERGY DEVELOPMENT, on April 21, 2009 at Channelview Hotel Calabar Cross River State. The theme of the workshop is ‘’SECURING ELECTRICITY & THE ECONOMIC FUTURE OF OUR RURAL COMMUNITIES’’, the workshop had in attendance, Roy Ndoma Egba, Special Advisor for Intl Donor Support, Cross River State, to mention a few.

The event featured seasoned papers such as; Alternative Energy and its Potential Impact on Development of Rural Communities by Mr. James Ogunleye, Renewable Energy Policy and Institutional Framework by Dr. W.I. Okonkwo, National Centre for Energy Research and Development etc.
